An independent information website that helps UK drivers understand and compare car lease deals before they sign. We do not sell or arrange leases. Founded and edited by Adrian, a car enthusiast who built the guide he wished he had.

What we do

Car Lease Deals UK publishes clear, jargon-free guides about car leasing, running costs and choosing a car. Our aim is simple: to help you understand your options before you spend money or speak to a provider, so you can decide with confidence.

We cover how leasing and contract hire work, how monthly costs are calculated, what to watch for in an agreement, and what popular cars typically cost to run.

What we don't do

We are not a broker, dealer or finance provider. We do not sell, supply, arrange, broker or introduce car leases, vehicle hire, finance or insurance, we do not take enquiries or applications, and we are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Everything here is general information, not financial, legal or purchasing advice. Any prices shown are indicative market estimates for guidance only, not offers.

How we research and write

Official data first. Power, fuel economy and CO2 figures come from theVehicle Certification Agency(UK government), with torque and performance from the manufacturer. Each car page names its sources.
Rules and tax from the source. Tax, VED and company car rules are checked against gov.uk, and leasing practice against industry guidance such as the BVRLA's fair wear and tear standard.
AI-assisted, checked before it goes live. Drafts are prepared with the help of AI writing tools. Before anything is published it is checked automatically against the official figures (for example, fuel economy and CO2 must agree with each other) and against our editorial rules, and anything that fails is held back for correction.
A score you can check. Every car carries our own score out of 10, worked out from official figures the moment the page loads, the same way for every car. The full method, with the categories, weights and formulas, is on our how we score cars page.
No scores for sale, no deals. We don't publish lease prices as offers, rank providers or accept payment to cover a car or a company.
Corrections. Spotted something wrong? Tell us through thecontact page and we'll fix it and update the page date.

How the site is funded

The site is free to read and is funded by advertising served by Google AdSense. Advertisers have no say in what we write, and adverts are always clearly separate from our content. We don't take commission from lease providers.
