Founder and editor, Car Lease Deals UK

Why I started the site

I am a car enthusiast, and every time I leased a car I struggled to work out which deal was actually right for me. Quotes for the same car came with different initial rentals, terms, mileage allowances and fees, and comparing them like for like took far longer than it should have.

Car Lease Deals UK is the guide I wanted at the time: plain explanations of how leasing works, the official figures for each car, and tools that turn a quote into a total cost you can compare. The aim is to help you make the right choice for you, not to sell you a lease. The site does not sell, arrange or broker leases.

How the content is made and checked

Guides and car pages are drafted with the help of AI writing tools and built on official data: the Vehicle Certification Agency for economy and CO2, manufacturers for torque, performance and trims, and gov.uk, HMRC, Ofgem, DESNZ and the government Fuel Finder scheme for tax rates, fuel prices and energy costs.

Before anything is published it is checked automatically against those figures and against the site's editorial rules, and anything that fails is held back. Figures we cannot confirm from an official source are marked as approximate or left out. Read more about how we research.
